Isaac Warrington studied Philosophy and Art at advanced as well as Psychology, Environmental Science and English Language at an intermediate level.
He has recently obtained a Bachelors Degree
in Fine Art at MCAST Institute of Creative Arts.
When it comes to his own art practices, Warrington looks to Ontology (the branch of metaphysics dealing with the nature of being) and Phenomenology (an approach that concentrates on the relationship of consciousness and the objects of direct experience.) as a starting point for most of his works, adopting an Aristotelian approach in relation to how humans interact with the world around them, particularly the situation in Malta. Warrington’s works tend to have a dark and critical nature. His works also feature and often contain an absurdist approach towards existential concepts as well as the inclusion of primal notions.
